About me

We’re taught that beautiful means perfect. Sterile. A spotless showroom curated by a magazine. A citrus bowl on your coffee table.
What a boring, exhausting way to live.
Life is gloriously, deliciously messy. Beauty isn’t about order; it’s about pleasure. And true pleasure is found in the lived-in, the textured, the real—the way sunlight hits a rumpled duvet, or a well-loved bookshelf sags under the weight of stories.
I’m Lucie, the heart and hands behind Leon Interiors. I’m a multi-passionate creator—a painter, a photographer, a sewer, a writer—because I believe creativity is a single muscle, flexed in a thousand different ways. This isn’t a side hustle; it’s my entire way of seeing the world.
My professional history taught me one thing above all else: you can’t pour from an empty cup. Protecting our mental health isn’t a luxury; it’s the foundational work that allows us to show up—for our communities, our causes, and ourselves. And our space is that foundation. I’m here to fight the notion that thoughtful, soul-nourishing design is a frivolous game for the rich when it’s a vital tool for those tired of fighting a system that wasn’t built for us.
This work is my rebellion. It’s about building spaces that are both stunning to look at and feel like an honest conversation, not a filtered Instagram post. Spaces that are so deeply you that they don’t just house you; they hold you. Because a home that drains you is a fucking liability.
Does your space make you happy?
