About me

We’re conditioned to think that beauty is order. That magazines and advertising companies know best, and if they show us interiors that are spotless and squeaky clean with a lemon or grapefruit here and there, that must be what a ‘beautiful’ space should look like.

I disagree. I think life is so deliciously messy, it’s unrealistic to expect where you live, function, or work, to be ‘beautiful’ in this sterile way.

So I created Leon.

I disagree. I think life is so deliciously messy, it’s unrealistic to expect where you live, function, or work, to be ‘beautiful’ in this sterile way.

So I created Leon.

I’m Lucie, I’m in my early thirties, I have a passion for colours, textures, light and ‘beauty’, in my opinion, is pleasure. And pleasure is messy! I value the poetry there is in the mess of everyday life, like the visual aesthetics of sunshine hitting messy bed sheets.

I live and work in Berlin—but if you want to fly me somewhere to work for you I’m not opposed to it at all.

I’m a multi-passionate creative being : I paint, I draw, I sew, I shoot photography, I write, I do digital art, I model for my talented friends, I even dabble a little bit in music (I play the harp!), and of course I design things! From furniture to entire spaces, through wall murals and more.
Interior decor and communication gets me going.

And that’s my goal right here: professional experience in many environments/industries made mental health my number one priority, and now I really really want to show you how much design can benefit yours! The world we live in is making art and design appear as a luxury only the richest & most privileged can afford, but I wholeheartedly disagree. I think everyone should have access to art, that investing time and energy in designing your everyday surroundings is not only useful but a necessity. Because when we all end up under- or overwhelmed by how much we deal with daily, in our fast-paced, digital-based society, we need someone, something, or somewhere to catch us, hold us, ground us.

I want to make sure that you have a space that can seamlessly give you that support every single day. I want you to come home and feel hugged by your space because it’s so YOU that you immediately feel better. Does your space make you happy?
